Arty farty party boat
After the success of the ‘Draw Next Door’ (scroll on after this to read all about it!) we partnered with the Students Union to host the Arty Farty Party Boat. It was a bigger event and completely sold out despite adding extra tickets! A total of 70 students from a range of years and courses attended on the day and the three hour event consisted of informal drawing exercises, ice breakers and time enjoying the views at sea! The aim of the event was to encourage creative play and connection with new people, building the student community.

The “Draw Next Door” was a collaborative personal project with two friends from Fine Art and Graphic Design. We hosted the event to make a space for creativity and community, bringing friends from different aspects of university life together. We wanted to encourage non-assessed creativity and play, a break from work and a space to meet new people.
